Rolling Stoves

Very solid and durable containers with absolutely no leakage even after leaving food in the container in the fridge and taking it out the next day to plate and microwave. My first order went well and I will continue to use ECOTOGO.

FAQs

Are your boxes & trays food safe?

Absolutely. Our ECOTOGO boxes and trays are designed for direct food contact with zero PFCs,  no bioplastics, no oils, and no synthetic linings. Translation, there's absolutely no bad stuff in our boxes and trays. Just a water-based lining.

Are ECOTOGO boxes & trays actually biodegradable?

Yes. Unlike other products that claim to be compostable and biodegradable, ECOTOGO products are actually biodegradable. Other products require commercial composting facilities where added chemicals and heat help breakdown the materials. ECOTOGO requires no such intervention. It's simple water-based coating and natural cardboard shell are fully biodegradable.

Can your boxes be put in the microwave?

Unfortunately, no. ECOTOGO products should not be microwaved.

They are still suitable and perfectly safe for hot food.

Why is ECOTOGO needed?

Styroforam and single-use plastics are banned in Barbados and neighbouring islands.

Alternatives were introduced but they're still not good enough.

  • Most "biodegradable" and "compostable" alternatives require commercial composting facilities to breakdown.

  • Barbados (and most neighbouring islands) does not have one.

  • These alternatives are sent to the landfill and can't breakdown properly.

ECOTOGO is naturally biodegradable. It will breakdown naturally without the need for a composting facility.
